Last night and today I worked on putting fabrics together for one of my
quilting bees. I chose some fallish color combos - greens, oranges, yellows, browns and a splash of turquoisey blue. I'm having the group make different sized blocks that will emulate
this concept, inspired by Kaffee Fassett's
Jewel Square quilt.
Tonight I'm hoping to get a few trick-or-treaters so I don't have to eat 3 bags of candy by myself. We live in a great neighborhood, so I think there will be plenty of kids around, but our house is in a peculiar spot that probably won't attract many kids, but I'll be ready!
