It's Giveaway Day! Sew, Mama, Sew! is coordinating a grand day of giveaways all over blogland, and I'm happy to add to the mix. I have two different sets to giveaway.
The first is a colorful mix of Galaxy batiks and some swatches of Christmas prints.
The second set is a few pieces of some Michael Miller prints, a half-yard of a Lakehouse green with shiny green polka dots and four fat quarters of Moda Woodland Bloom
To enter this giveaway, please leave a comment. Make sure you leave a way for me to contact you and if you have a preference for which set you'd like you can leave that as well. If you have a moment before you need to rush to the next blog giveaway, I'd love to hear about a favorite Christmas tradition, recipe, craft, or present.
I'll pick the two winners on December 6.

«Oldest ‹Older 1 – 200 of 246 Newer› Newest»One of my favorite Christmas recipes kind of sounds weird, but they are so yummy and we make them every Christmas Eve. Wrap chicken with bacon and put on a toothpick with a chunk of pineapple. Cover in a sauce made from equal parts of sugar and ketchup. Broil until cooked through and caramelzed. SO good!
For Christmas, my mom always makes an Italian Cream Cake. I look forward to it each year.
Thanks for the giveaway. I love that Moda woodland fabric.
A new tradition we are starting is baking a cake for Jesus. This year it is spice cake with cream cheese frosting. yum.
I love option two. Thank you for the opportuniy.

i love the moda! no traditions yet, but we are working on that. . .

Hello! I'm glad to have found your blog via the giveaway day, and I'm really looking forward to reading your other posts. I adore the Michael Miller fabrics, great stuff. :) I have a Finnish Mushroom Pie recipe I make every year from the Sundays at Moosewood Restaurant cookbook - it is absolutely decadent and to die for, if you like mushrooms. Thanks for participating!
I'll have to say my favorite Christmas gift ever was my Bernina! I'm loving those Batiks!
I love making sugar cookies with the kids. They enjoy helping and take a lot of pride in eating and sharing the cookies they made.
Thanks for a great giveaway. I like the Michael Miller fabric.
I'd love the second set.
When I was growing up, we always had to find our stockings in the morning because Santa had hidden them.
I love the Moda fabric! For Christmas, my mother in law always makes her pretzel salad which is unassumingly delicious.
I love the church traditions at Christmas - the Advent candle lighting, singing, decorating the church, all the anticipation. Probably because it's been a part of my life since childhood.
As for which fabric I prefer, well, I saw the batiks and said, "Ooooh!" Then I scrolled down and saw the Moda and "Oooh!" again...so...either. :)
My favorite Christmas tradition is the village that my parents put under the tree. My grandmother started it years ago, way before department 56 and there's something really magical about it to me. thanks for the giveaway! I'd especially love the Michael Miller prints!
Our annual bonfire is my favorite tradition:) Lovely prizes!! Thanks!
christinbanda at yahoo dot com
hihi. i love christmas also. I guess my favorite tradition is decorating the tree. I moved in to my own space this year and decorated my own tree. It was sad and yet I absolutely love my pitiful little tree.
Love both the fabric sets, but I'm partial to the michael miller. love all the fun prints in it!
Beautiful fabrics! A few of my Christmas favorites are, shortbread cookies, O Holy Night, and the movie, A Christmas Story!
Hi what a great giveway I love the MM prints. I love setting up the x-mas tree with my 6yo
I would love to win set 2! Our traditions are that we stay home instead of traveling and we have a Kugelhopf for breakfast! I have to get up EARLY to get the dough rising, but then again, I'm always excited to see what Santa has brought!
2nd set please ! we enjoy celebrating Advent with several Advent calendars
What a great giveaway. My favorite part of the holiday is the decorations around the house. It's so warm and festive. And this year we will be celebrating my daughter's first birthday (12/22)!
Lovely giveaway! I love those batiks!
My favorite xmas tradition is a treasure hunt we do every year at my folks'. You can read about it on my blog if you're curious for more:

Hi! Thanks for the giveaway, I'd love the Michael Miller prints!
My favorite family Christmas tradition is when we gather all the kids around a cake and sing Happy Birthday to Jesus :-)
Yay for giveaways! I like the second set best. My favorite holiday recipe is for chocolate covered cheesecake lollipops. Yum. jennirowles @ yahoo.com
I LOVE batiks! ...but I also love Moda!! How to choose!?!?
As for Christmas Traditions, I seem to be at a time in my life where all the old traditions are no longer possible! I need to start my own traditions :)
kelli.canady {at} gmail dot com
We do a cheese fondue every year on Christmas Eve on my husband's side of the family. A great tradition! I really like the Moda fabrics and Batiks!! You will have to choose for me.
I like baking and wrapping presents while watching Love Actually.
My favorite tradition is making gingerbread houses. Thanks for the chance -- I'll take either one...too hard to choose.
My favorite tradition is the Christmas tree. Going out in the cold (usually at night) to a local tree shop to pick out the best tree. Then going home and decorating it. I love pulling out all the ornaments and remembering how we got them.
One of my favorite Christmas traditions/recipes is the gumbo we make every Christmas Eve using leftover smoked turkey from Thanksgiving that we set aside and froze. So tasty!
Both choices for the giveaway look great! The batiks get a smidge more votes than the other fabric selection because I'm a sucker for batiks.
I'd be happy with either the fabrics! My favorite holiday tradition is making peanut butter balls.
I love both choices, so either would be a great addition.
My favorite tradition is making fudge wreaths for our friends and family.
Hi -- I would love the Batik set of fabric, but wouldn't say no to the second set either. Thanks for sharing.
Favorite Christmas tradition . . . kids can get stockings & bring to their bedroom but have to wait for Daddy to shower before can open any presents or re-visit the tree.
I's be thrilled with either of the prizes, but I guess I'll pick the batik.
My favorite tradition is doing our Advent activities. We only started three years ago, but it's a great time for the family to relax and enjoy each other's company.
Love the second set of fabrics. I always make peppermint candy cane cookies for the holidays.
Two sets of fabrics! I can not choose! Thanks for the opportunity to win.
Favorite tradition. My dear wonderful mother made a Christmas tree out of cinnamon rolls on a cookie sheet for Christmas breakfast. I made it with my children as well. No grandkids yet, but the tradition will continue. Simple, sweet, family and EASY.
I love potato cakes and herring on xmas eve. thanks for the giveaway op! toilandtrouble [at] spambog [dot] com
I love making Snickerdoodles cookies and eating them is even better! I like the first set. thanks.
Thanks for the giveaway. I love those Michael Miller and Moda fabrics.
My favorite Christmas recipe is berry pie. It's so simple and tastes delicious! The trick is not to put in too much sugar so that the tanginess of the berries can really shine.
Berry pie filling:
2 c raspberries
1 c blackberries
2 c blueberries
3/4 c sugar
1 T flour
1 t cinnamon
i'd love either set! they're both beautiful!! as for food traditions... latkes - it's hanukkah in my house and we fry potato latkes (pancakes) in oil to symbolize our festival of lights! whatever your tradition... enjoy!
I'd love either set, but I'm drooling a bit more over the Moda set! Christmas tradition - breakfast at my mom's! And my dad cooks the scrambled eggs - only thing he ever cooks!
kellyjo(dot)haines(at)gmail(dot)com
Lovely fabrics. Thanks for the chance to win!
Favorite tradition is that we have sent a picture with every Christmas card for the last 29 years. We then frame one every year and put out the entire collection for the month of December. I love to see the kids growing up before my very eyes. They are 19, 24, 26 this year and still willing to get their photo taken.
butlerswife@gmail.com
I like hthem all. Thanks for the giveaway
We write letters to ourselves on Christmas Eve, and read last year's letters as well. We don't share them with others, so it's just a private time of reflection and humor as we read what silly and special things we wrote in the prior year.
I'm loving option #2!
Beautiful fabrics. I like both sets but love the first one. One of my christmas traditions is to decorate our tree with home made ornaments. Getting them out every year and 're-discovering' each one is so special.
Linda
RLGF3@att.net
A favorite tradition is the holiday baking, fruitcake, shortbread, etc. The second set is so lovely!
kynaroyal(at)yahoo(dot)com
When it comes to Christmas traditions, I'm all about the baking. Cookies and cakes and candy, oh my!
Thank you for the chance!
corvus.melloriATgmailDOTcom
I love the second set!
My favorite tradition is reading the Christmas story and having children act out the parts by the tree on Christmas Eve.
Thank you for holding this giveaway! I can be reached at mcanary_at_gmail_dot_com.
Second set, please! Nice giveaway...thanks!
Both sets are beautiful!
My favorite part is the kids opening new pj's and then reading "Twas the Night Before Christmas" right before bedtime. My parents did the same thing when I was growing up!
Thank you
Jenn at jnaboles at yahoo.com

Every Christmas Eve our family takes a horse drawn sleigh ride through the lights in our town...
Thanks for the chance to win!
I love the Michael Miller set but would count myself lucky to add any of those fabulous fabrics to my stash!
I love making sugar cookies with my kids. My favorite recipe is my recipe for vegan peppermint patties. I am loving the Michael Miller prints!
the michael miller fabrics look delish!
I like the second set!
My kids and me always decorate cookies, we love it!
Oh how kind, lovge it all but REALLY love the seconset. I love to pile in the car and go and look at lights! Thank you for the chance!
The batiks are beautiful.
My favorite Christmas tradition is looking at all the Christmas lights (followed closely by waking up Christmas morning and opening presents before doing anything else, no contacts, no bra, no breakfast, no tea even!)
Love Michael Miller and Moda! I love decorating the tree while enjoying cookies and eggnog with my family. Thanks for the giveaway!
kikisdeals@hotmail.com
i love #2!
i love the second one! my family doesn't really have many christmas traditions..when i start a family of my own, we'll be changing that. :)
Yum yum! Fabric! This year I am making a ton of travel tissue holders our of cute fabrics! Perfect for little girls, teens, mom, friends!
I'd like the second set. On Christmas morning (well, whatever time it is when we are done opening presents and the rolls are ready), we eat my mom's homemade cinnamon rolls. :)
My favorite Christmas recipe is Yorkshire pudding, which my dad makes with a rib roast almost every year. There's also my mom's "dream bars" which have pecans and coconut and brown sugar on a shortbread cru..s..mm - excuse me, I just drooled.
Love those batiks, but I wouldn't sneeze at the other set, either!
Thank you for the giveaway!
I love to buy the Christmas tree with my husband and decorate it together. Also, watch Christmas movies.
I love all the cookies Christmas brings!
I'd love either set, but I guess I prefer the second, as those are fabrics I am less likely to buy for myself. My favorite part of the season (aside from time with family) is listening to Nat King Cole croon the carols.
The second set of fabrics is great! (The first is too, I just like the second better. :) ) Honestly, my favorite Christmas tradition is stockings, both stuffing them and emptying them. Which makes me wonder why I've not made any for my little family now that I'm all grown...
Thanks for the wonderful giveaway - beautiful fabric...both sets!
My favorite tradition is - all the food! and singing Christmas carols at church! And I'm not picky about which set to win... you are awesome!
megan.nadalet at gmail dot com
Very pretty - I love the sets - especially the second one!
My favorite Christmas tradition involves singing around the piano with my family. That's the best! I love both sets of fabric, especially the first.
attemptingcreativity at gmail dot com
fave trad -- picking up the first qt of egg nog on the way home from getting our tree. pour, spike, decorate--holiday bliss!
i love BOTH giveaways, only a slight preference for the second but seriously, i would be thrilled with either collectioN! thank you!
Both sets are gorgeous and I'd love to win either one.
Favorite holiday recipe.....Oreo truffles.
Put one package of Oreos through the food processor until they are powder, mix with on pound of powdered sugar, and one brick of softened cream cheese. Refrigerate until they are easy to work with. Roll them into balls. I like to chill them again. Then dip them in melted chocolate and chill again. So rich, but so yumm....
Batiks win anytime - pairs with any and all
thanks for the chance
Mmmmm! I love chocolate. I eat chocolate all Christmas season, in any form.
I also like your second set of fabrics.
patrickDOTmarybethATgmailDOTcom
both sets are wonderful! i would probably prefer the second set, but beggars shouldn't be choosy! love watching my kids 18, 19 and 21 bound down the stairs to check the advent calendar every morning-too cute!
I love woodland bloom, i could never get enough of that fabric. I love seeing the joy and light of the Christmas spirit in the eyes of my children. I love spending time with family.
I like the second set of fabric the best.
I'm also an east(ish) coast girl living on the west coast. Last Christmas I made my mom's kolachki recipe - cookies everyone makes back home. Here, people had never heard of them and just went crazy over them. I've already gone through one batch this season. Luckily I made extra frozen dough for later.
I would love the Michael Miller set. Thank you!
My favorite Christmas tradition is driving around and looking at the lights with my sister. We had to skip it last year because of our snow storm, and I was so sad.
I love the micheal miller fabric bundle!! Thanks!!
I love the woodland bloom set - thanks for the giveaway! We always have angel food birthday cake on Christmas to remember the reason for the holiday. Yummy!
I'd love the second set -- gorgeous!!
My favorite treat to make at Christmas is English Toffee. I only let myself make it just that once all year, because I usually end up eating it all! ;)
I love that first set, it is so bright and coloful. My mother-in-law has this great cheeseball recipe that she has made every year since we were married. It is so great and I can't make it like her so it is such a treat. Thanks for the chance!!!!!
I love the 2nd set.
At christmas I love to bake cookies and make candy with my kids.
I love the batiks. I love my mom's stuffing that she makes, we only get it two times a year and there are never any leftovers!
I'd love the 2nd set. I love baking cookies with my kids.
THanks so much for the giveaway! I'd love the second sent. Thanks for the chance to win.
We started my son's advent calendar this year, and it's my new favorite tradition! Happy holidays.
I love fudge and am determined to learn how to make it. Also, I love the second batch of fabrics as I've had my eye on those Michael Miller prints for a while now.
The second set looks right up my alley! Thanks!
So pretty! My preference would be for the second set. So pretty! My favorite tradition is simple: just plain being with my family. My mom makes farmer's cheese pancakes on Christmas. We open presents. We take a walk in some woods. It is awesome.
I love the second set, great giveaway.
Beautiful fabrics -- the second set is more my color.
I will share a favorite recipe (such as it is)-- Take a pound of Brussels sprouts (washed, trimmed and quartered) and cook on medium high heat in a splash of olive oil. Toss with sea salt and lots of freshly ground pepper. Cook the sprouts until they caramelize and char a bit on the outside. They will be so sweet they taste like candy!
Batiks rock!
But I would be happy with either group of fabrics!
I love the Michael Miller fabrics.
My favorite holiday tradition is getting a real tree from our local tree farm.
Either fabric set would be a lovely gift! Thanks!
What great fabrics! Our favorite Christmas tradition happens Christmas Eve. In the late afternoon the whole family gets together. I make baked brie en croute and have really good wine on hand for the adults, and everyone brings his or her speciality hors d'oeuvres or finger foods. Then we open the family gift which is a puzzle with 1,000 or more pieces. We spend the evening talking, laughing, and working on the puzzle. Then we all go to Midnight Mass together. The puzzle work usually picks back up after Christmas dinner.
Very pretty fabrics, all of them!
A favorite Christmas tradition in our family is observing Advent. It gives our daughter a good, calm way to count down to Christmas, helps us to focus on our faith during the season, and connects us to so many others throughout the world (and history) who celebrate the same things we do.
one of my favorite christmas crafts is really something i haven't made, but will someday. as a child we had a set of felt carollers that we put up on the mantel. the set from childhood is starting to fade and shows signs of being so old. turns out the pattern is still in the box, so someday i will be making a new set...the tradition continues.
thanks for you offer. if i had to choose a set, i really like the second one.

Hi there! Ooh, love that collection of Michael Miller/Moda prints.
My favorite Christmas cookie recipe are "nutmeg noels." They're kind of like sugar cookies with nutmeg, rolled in colored sugar. YUM.
Liz @ teeny tiny quilts
Second choice for me. Tradition we do every year is decorate christmas cookies together with fam or friends. It's a great afternoon of laughter, creativity and fun.
Either set would be great but if I had to chose I would pick the Micheal Miller fabrics.
This weekend I will be making peanutbutter blossoms and frosted sugar cookies.
Love the MM fabrics! Since I'm Jewish, but my husband was raised Catholic, his parents are thrilled we spend Dec. 25 with them every year. My tradition on that day is Chinese food and a movie!
Love the cookies around the holidays! Thanks for the giveaway, beautiful fabric too!
I'd love the second set, thanks for the giveaway!
One of my fav. traditions is playing musical chimes! We do it every year and it's so much fun!

Oh, wow, I love both sets.
My favorite Christmas tradition is on the eve we all get new pjs and we put them on and have cookies and milk (or coffee for mom and dad). The kid is getting older now but since he still lives here he still has to participate. So sweet and comfy.
Thanks for the giveaway.
I love both sets - maybe the 2nd one more? They're great though.
For Christmas, we always eat delicious Chinese food!
shou.milk@gmail.com
I make sugar cookies with the kids on Christmas Eve, then pile into the van to drive around and look at Christmas lights. I like the second set of fabrics the best. Thanks for the chance to win!
chelmert0927 at yahoo.com
our family makes cookies together, and i can't wait until my daughter is old enough to help! (sitting up would be a start!)
i love the m.miller & moda. thanks!
blueteardrop at comcast.net
I like the second set!
Love the batiks.
I like to bake gingerbread men and women from a family recipe and give out to friends. I can already smell them baking - yum-
Oooo ... love fabric. I like the second set better since it's a bit more modern and more me. At Christmas I generally like to make my own Christmas cards because I think it lets people know that even though I'm poor and can't afford to get them a gift, I still care enough to actually make them a card.
Our favorite family tradition for the holidays is to make (and eat) poppy seed kolachy. YUM. Thanks for participating in the give away. I love the second grouping of fabrics.
what a great giveaway!! My favorite holiday tradition is the FoOD. My mother always makes sure there's plenty to eat all day long. Shrimp cocktail, homemade chex mix, my favorite cookies (candy cane cookies, google it, its the betty crocker one and the first thing that shows up), and then macaroni and cheese!!!
Merry Christmas! :)
Our tradition is eating out at Chili's after XMAS Eve mass....we started this a few yrs ago and it's very relaxing before the big day.
Oooh, love the batiks. One cookie that I try to make every year is Italian Anise Pillows, in honor of my DH's Italian heritage.

Oh, I'd have to go with option #2 (even though I like batiks too!). My favorite tradition is decorating a gingerbread house - it's so much fun to watch my daughter go nuts with the candy. :)
My favorite Christmas tradition is getting pajamas at my mom's house Christmas eve, in the same Care Bears gift box that has been my christmas eve pajama box since I was 2. Mom has tried to replace the box a few times, but I won't let her!
I would definitely choose option #2!
Love the galazy batiks! My favorite Holiday tradition. Waiting to have our presents from the tree at 6pm on Dec. 25th. It makes Christmas last the whole day. We even did this while the children were young and it's now a tradition.
Thanks for hosting this giveaway. Happy Holidays.
Jane
Wonderful fabric! I'd love to win it!
Tradition - is driving around looking at Christmas lights and then going for hot cocoa somewhere...
I'm going with option #2 - but, if I would take either...

Great selection. You are very generous! Thank you so much!
I love the Michael Millers!
Either set would be well-loved here!!! Thank you!
ooo I love fabrics and I love the second set
I love the second set! I am working on starting the tradition of hand made gifts with my children. The oldest is 5 and is making pillows for everyone this year. My 2 year old will draw pictures. And the baby will probably have to wait for next year to get in on the action. :) Thanks for the fab giveaway!
we open one gift on christmas eve. It's a perfect tease for the next day
I love the second set of fabrics. So pretty. A newish tradition (3rd year) for us is the Christmas Eve dinner we have with really close friends and we feast on steak and lobster. Yum! I look forward to it ever year.
I really like the second set! We make cookies and goodies and take them to all the neighbors, which is fun to see and chat with folks at often we only wave at! Thanks for the chance to win!
I'd love the second set. Right now I'm making loads of scrappy fabric belts form juicy bits' tutorial.
a_heart4home(at)yahoo(dot)com
I love the Michael Miller fabrics! perfect for some january sewing [they'll brighten up my sewing room]. Thanks!
I would like the second set thanks for a great giveaway.
I love wrap new pj for on christmas eve day, make cookies, gingerbread house, driving around look at light house, and write to santa.
My favourite Christmas craft is actually making paper chains. It's a left over from when I was a girl that is simple enough to do with my toddler :)
If I should happen to luck out and win, I would prefer the second set - I love those woodland bloom prints!
My favorite Christmas tradition is that my dad always reads all of us Twas the Night Before Christmas. Instead of reading it correctly, he says, "And laying a finger inside of his nose, and giving a nod, up the chimney he rose." :) Too funny! I love both sets of the fabrics--great colors!
Our is ready the story of His birth on Christmas day. Love the fabrics!
Wow, I would love the Michael Miller and Moda fabric, but would be happy eith either set.
My favorite holiday tradition is going to the Dollar Store every Christmas Eve with my husband's family. My father in law gives us each enough money to buy a $1 present for each person. We sneak around the store dodging each other and then go home and exchange gifts. Some are gag gifts, some are practical, but it's tons of fun!
shannon.mangerchine@gmail.com
I love the second set with the Michelle Miller prints! Thanks for this opportunity! This Christmas I am having fun making scarves and flannel lap blankets! Have a wonderful holiday!

i love that michael miller set.
my favorite thing about christmas is getting the tree and decorating it. that is the only time in the whole season that i still feel like a kid again when i dig out all my ornaments i love so much.
Our Christmas tradition growing up was stockings Christmas morning. My mom handmade the stockings, and everyone got a movie every year. We'd pick one of the four new movies and watch it while we all lounged in our pjs.
Oh, and I love the second set of fabrics!
I lvoe going to the Candel light Christmas Eve Servicer at chruch

Great giveaway! Thanks for participating in the Giveaway Day.
Oh I love the Micheal Miller fabric. My favorite holiday tradition is to have cheese, crackers, sausage & other oderve (sp?) type foods for supper on christmas eve - cooking! And when we lived in Denver, CO we would go to the Zoo Lights, lots of fun for kids of all ages.
I love the Michael Miller fabric! I don't really have any holiday traditions. We make homemade cinnamon rolls when it snows (which doesn't happen much here in Georgia). Thanks for the great giveaway.
Hey! I love the Michael Miller set! I always make Blondies (cookies) for Christmas! The recipe is on www.smittenkitchen.com. So good and so easy!
Sarah @ http://comeandseetheseitz.com

love those michael miller prints! thanks for the generous giveaway.
I love both sets, but would probably lean towards the 2nd one. For Christmas my husband and I cut down a tree each year from either our probperty or my father in laws. We need to plant some new ones soon!
I would love the Moda and Michael collection! We cut our own Christmas tree. The smell is fabulous! Thanks for the giveaway. alusco(at)centurytel(dot)net
I love both the packs for different reasons ! We don't have traditions yet - perhaps after this year we will !
Those batiks rock!
My family is still working on our own traditions. But, growing up there was always The christmas story that my mom and I would watch endlessly. I love that movie, really need to add it to my collection.
Thank you for the awesome give away.
One of our favorite Christmas traditions is driving through lights displays (whether in parks or neighborhoods). It's always at the top of our list come the first snow fall.
I would love to receive the second set of fabrics (Michael Miller, etc.). Thanks for this fun giveaway!
Those fabrics are beautiful! Perfect for some upcoming Christmas gift projects.
Our favorite holiday tradition is going to the beach on Christmas morning. Lucky we live Hawaii! :)
Happy Thursday!
Christmas tradition: since we don't get snow too often, at the first snow we all load up into the car after dark and ride around looking at everyone's lights! :)
We also don't get much snow, and it rarely comes on Christmas, usually in January. We love to bundle up, grab the dog and walk the neighborhood looking at all the beautiful lights.
Susan in NC

My family and I exchange gifts Christmas Eve. Its dark and chilly and we light candles, play with the little ones, laugh, eat baked goods and drink wine and its perfect!!
I would love to win the second collection, I love the bright colors!!
I love the second set of fabrics - those Michael Millers are great!
My favorite Christmas tradition is definitely lunch at my mom's house with ALL the family ... one of the best days of the year!

I love the second set of fabric! Thanks for doing a giveaway! sales4mp@gmail.com
Hello there! The batiks are just lovely.
http://tinknfrog.blogspot.com/
I love the first set, but the second set would be nice to, I am easy to please, I just want to win something, anything... Baking Christmas cookies is my favorite holiday tradition, with my kids and now my grandchildren and we even have one great grand child who likes to put on the sprinkles, or maybe she justs like sprinkling her tongue...
i'm loving both of those sets. gorgeous!
My favorite tradition are our candy/chocolate filled advent calendars. Nothing beats seeing exciting children running down the stairs each morning in December to see what little surprise there is that day.
I'd love to win the Moda fabric. Thanks hosting the giveaway.
Our favorite tradition is coffee cakes and keuchan on Christmas while we are opening gifts.
I love the first set you your give away ...thanks so much.
my aunts and uncles always had a gift exchanse, there were 7 of them, so each child gave to another, drew names, you know the deal. When they started getting married, spouces could choose to be included as an individual or a couple. My cousin joined two years ago, and I joined three years ago. It;s neat to be included in something that now spans generations.
When I was little I could open one present Christmas eve. So of course, I would shake them all, check out their weight and make my selection. One year there was this small gift that rattled and jingled so that one just had to be opened!! It was an empty margarine container that my dad had put a couple of clothes pins and small bells in. He thought it was hilarious....I did not! :) Needless to say, mom gave in and let me open another gift as she wasn't in on dad's scheme. In hindsight, it was quite clever of him :)
Thank you for the opportunity to win your fab. fabric - I actually prefer selection #2, but I would be happy with either. - Elizabeth
Love the fabric. For this Christmas I'm making pillowcases for all my nieces and nephews.

What a great giveaway. I'd love to be the new owner of the first set. Our family all buys goodies to put in each other's stockings on Christmas morning. Thanks for entering my name in your drawing.
Lovely fabric give-a-way always looking to build my stash. Love the MM/Moda set. I love to sit around the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve and open tny boxes with Christmas symbols and talk about them wwith my son. We also randomly select a family and gift them with a 12 days of Christmas. Thanks.
For christmas I always like to drive around and look at the christmas lights. I give my kids new pajamas for christmas eve so they look thier best for chritmas morning pictures.
The michael miller set is wonderful. Thanks for the chance to win.
I would like the batiks - I am just getting into the batiks so this would be perfect. Thanks.

The Michael Miller set is so fun! We're just starting our Christmas traditions and it's so fun to read what everyone else is doing - thanks for sharing!
We are just starting to figure out what traditions we want to put in place in our family... We are really excited about incorporating Christmas traditions into the mix and are thinking of using Noel Piper's Advent Calendar that uses a lot of repetition to help the kiddos get excited about the season.
Thanks so much for the giveaway, and look forward to reading your blog in the future! I love both sets of fabric.
The second set of fabric is what I would pick. Thanks for giving!
My favorite Christmas gift is the small special gift in my stocking every year.
I love love love Michael Miller's fabrics, so the second set would be my choice (although both are really lovely).
I really enjoy making holiday cookies and always find a new recipe at realsimple.com. Maybe this year I will find a good cookie swap!!
the moda blooms are lovely!
I love christmas! so many fun traditions. my children were just talking about how their favo tradition is opening one present on christmas eve... and it's always new jammies! So then they get to sleep in warm, cozy, new jammies!
Those are both great! But the second one is just SO lovely... that's my fave. For Christmas, I love going to the zoo with my family to see their light display! So much fun!
I love those second fabrics.. very pretty... I don't have a favorite holiday tradition... though for about 15 years now, I've waited in line to pick up a KBCO studio C CD for myself and my cousin... tomorrow morning, and it's gonna be a cold one. :P I guess it wouldn't be Christmas without that.
I'm loving some christmas cookies right now! Espresso Chocolate ones to be exact! http://elizabethcarroll.wordpress.com/2009/12/02/chocolate-espresso-snowcaps/
I love the second set of fabrics! Thanks!
I LOVE set number 2 and we traditionally see the Christmas lights every year.
Love the Michael Miller fabric! I'd be so excited to win anything though!
My favorite christmas tradition has got to be going to pick out a tree the day after Thanksgiving. When I was a kid I'd go with my mom and she'd take for.e.ver to pick out the "right" tree. I used to complain when I was a kid, but now I do the same thing!
Thanks for the lovely giveaway!
If I should happen to win, please email me so I'll know. elizabethdaming(at)yahoo(dot)com
We always go see the Nutcracker, and it is wonderful because they have the most amazing sets and costumes!!

I like them both, but I'd lean toward the second set :) Thanks for the chance to win! As for traditions, we celebrate St. Nicholas day and I love it! I make Dutch goodies, we put out our shoes and we just hang out as a family before all the Christmas madness gets into full swing!
